The Mouth of a Mertrap.
Despite both Being Mermaids, They Are very Inclusitive. Merflies are Hummingbird-Like decendents of Mergulls, Being the same size as a Bee Hummingbird. Mertraps, However, are Terrestrial decendents of Hiders, Having lost both Their Camoflauge, and their Aquaticnis, Have a Plant-Like body.
In Order for a Mertrap to Catch a Merfly, it Sends out A Sweet smell To Mimic a Delicous, Juicy Flower. The Merfly gets closer, And Closer, And Closer, And Closer, Untill, He Regrets his Mistake. The merfly is Caught in a Sticky and Slippery saliva that Makes it Pinned Flightless. He slips down Into the Esophagus, and then, Into the Stomach, where He Gets digested And pooped out with all The Other Merflies.
