The Hollywood tang or Acanthurus laetus is a species of tang native to the southern Pacific down to the southern Indian Ocean. Their name refers to their light blue and orange markings, which can can be seen as a parody of the cliché orange and blue backgrounds of many movie posters. Though once bleak, the southern oceans became teeming with life as the singular ocean and smaller ice cover had warmed the Earth, encouraging growth of coral in areas not previously known.
