I mean, they do well in the habitat. Rangers were trying to find ways to control the population of pythons, so they looked at climate, winter became much colder than it was anticipated in Florida at one time. They hoped this weather would kill off many of the pythons and control their population, but they found that most of the pythons living in the wild Florida ecosystems survived and most of the pythons found dead after the winter incident didn't die because of the cold. So what do you think the evolutionary future for pythons in North America will be?
